My husband and I looked all over for a great photographer on Maui to capture our Honeymoon/ Trash the dress pictures. When we stumbled across Ian Shepherd’s photographs and saw how he incorporates the nature and surrounding landscape into the pictures we knew he was the right photographer for the job.
The day of our shoot we showed up a little early to visit the beach and check out the south side of the island. The directions that were given to us to get to the beach were very easy to follow and to find even though its name (secret beach) gives you another impression. The whole shoot was absolutely amazing, The way we were able to connect, talk and joke throughout the whole shoot made us feel like Ian was family!
Not only did we have friendly conversation but Ian made it a point to give us tips on what to see on the island and some great secret beaches to see Sea Turtles at and other wildlife. If that were not enough our 45 minute shoot turned into two hours (Just from friendly conversation!) The whole experience was so much more then we could have asked for!
Last but not least THE PICTURES!! The pictures turned out absolutely stunning! I never thought we would get so many beautiful pictures but truthfully I don’t think Ian caught a bad one! The talent he has goes without words to describe and we couldn’t be happier that we picked him to share and capture those special moments with us! We cant wait to go back to Maui and book another session!!
